Ann Arbor United Soccer Club

2023 TRY-IN (Join a Team)

This year Instead of hosting mass tryouts with hundreds of players in attendance, new players will be invited to Try-Ins at existing team practices.  By adopting this format, we hope to increase the coaches' ability to properly evaluate each player.  This format will provide a much safer and healthy environment.  This process will aid in the confidence level of new players coming in by removing some of the nervousness and stress typically associated with a “Try-Out.”

Ann Arbor United S.C., has been teaching soccer since the '80s.  The club has sent 3 players to the MLS, countless to High School and College teams. We are widely recognized for developing players and hosted camps and clinics with Chelsea FC - England, and Real Madrid FC - Spain.

Our philosophy of developing appropriate skills to fit various types of players has helped many reach their goals.  Our vision assessing players while enhancing agility, athletic ability and skill is unique.

We look forward to teaching and preparing your sons and daughters to play the beautiful game.  Continued good health and prosperity to all!

Ann Arbor United S.C., is a premier club that focuses on player development.  Teams are coached by highly experienced coaches.  The high level coaching styles are similar to some of the top-level European clubs.  The club has produced players that have moved on to play college, semi-pro, and professional soccer.  The club has also produced more high school Varsity players than the other Ann Arbor clubs.  Teams play year-round including during the indoor season.  High school age teams/players will not play club soccer during the high school season but will play with their teams the rest of the soccer year.

Try-outs/Try-ins are mandated by the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) to be held each year during the month of June to establish competitive travel teams for the club.  The process is used to build new teams or enhance existing teams.  Teams playing in Western Suburban Soccer League (WSSL) typically travel 20-40 minutes from Ann Arbor for away games.  Teams playing in Michigan Premier Soccer Program (MSPSP) could travel to several cities within the state for their away games, while teams playing in the National League do have some travel out of state for league play.  Home games are played in Ann Arbor at our home facility.
